Kathryn M. Cimera, an attorney with the law firm of Mallor Grodner Plummer LLP, recently spoke at the September 26-28 Luxe Group meeting, in Bloomington. Her presentation was entitled “HR Concerns for your Business.” The Luxe Group are a collection of independent retail specialty stores that meet to discuss best practices.
Kathryn is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in employment litigation, employment counseling, and employee benefits. Kathryn’s practice includes providing advice to employers on various employment issues, including workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, leaves of absences, reductions in force, and policy and procedure review. She advises and counsels employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment, equal opportunity, and benefits laws. She also represents both employees and employers with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge complaints.
Kathryn is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, teaching Employment Law for Human Resources Majors. She is frequently invited by organizations and agencies to speak on employment law related topics.
