Biography
Debra K. Herthel is Of Counsel with Mallor Grodner Plummer and currently focuses her practice on family law mediation, civil law mediation, family law issues, estate planning and administration, and criminal expungement.
Debra earned a Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Evansville. Debra practiced law in Jasper, Indiana for 10 years prior to joining her late husband, Nick J. Herthel in his law office in Bedford, Indiana in 2004. The two then formed the firm, Herthel & Herthel Attorneys at Law, PC.
Debra has served as the attorney for the Orange County Department of Child Services (1995- 1998); attorney for the Dubois County Department of Child Services (1996-2002), and attorney for the City of Jasper, Indiana (1997-2002). Debra is a certified family law mediator and certified civil law mediator. She has 31 years of experience.
