Kathryn M. Cimera, Mallor Grodner Plummer LLP, served on the faculty of a professional seminar for the National Business Institute, on October 5, 2022. Her presentations were “Creating and Updating Alcohol, Drug, and Marijuana Polices,” and “Best Practices for Discipline and Termination Policies.”
In this online seminar, Kathryn provided guidelines on federal laws impacted by alcohol and drug policies, and the impact of changing State-laws on the use of marijuana. Kathryn also provided guidance on employer’s policies, best practices for creating and updating those policies, and the need to document issues when they arise.
In addition to her employment law practice, Kathryn also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, teaching Employment Law for Human Resources Majors.
